Just like the area itself, Stadium Lofts is built on tradition. Blending the old and the new, these real loft homes are being seamlessly incorporated into the former Seattle Plumbing Company warehouse.

The brick, two-story, flat-iron shaped warehouse was built in 1905, following the 1889 Great Fire of Seattle which leveled 25 blocks, from Madison to Jackson and Fourth Avenue to the wharf. Following the devastating fire, all buildings in downtown Seattle were required to be built of brick and stone and most of these landmarks still stand today within the Stadium Lofts neighborhood, giving the area an authentic urban character not found anywhere else in Seattle.

Wherever possible, historical elements, such as the original window and door openings, will be retained in the new community. And as a special nod to the building's past, railroad tracks that were once used inside the warehouse to unload passing cars are being preserved.
